The Beatles Lost Solo

Right, I've just heard the news and I'm pretty effin' excited. They found a solo by George Harrison, recorded for 'Here comes the sun', which wasn't used in the final mix. As a huge Beatles and Harrison fan, it's like christmas present in March. It's unbelievable that it just layed in the studio for so many years. They discovered it by an accident, while filming a document about George. Sweet!

Your thoughts? I don't think that many of you will be as excited as I am, but damn, I can't stop smiling when I listen to this :).

  2. I didn't watch this one, but I remember hearing about this and basically the fade out on the album version fades out and that is where the guitar solo should have been. It fades out because a fuse in the mixer blew and they didn't want to re-record it so that is how we got the album version.

  6. I'm a fan of a decent solo, and I wish there was an official version with the solo in it because I'd like it. It's a super nice addition.
